Puffy Eyes, Lack Luster Skin

With the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season “OVER” I must admit that I get a little sad, almost like I don’t want to let it go!
But the days seem to go so fast. You can only keep Christmas decorations up so long! O.K. so I did it,spent the last week undecorating, taking everything down and starting the New Year.
I’ve had my fair share of cookies, candy, cakes, turkey, stuffing, ham and alcohol! Geez just saying that made my eyes puffy! But it’s time to get back on track and start eating healthy and excercising again.
Sugar and white flour are enemies of beauty! They can lead to not only weight problems but skin problems as well, through inflammatory responses and also affect proteins which can age skin prematurely through a process called glycation.
Advanced glycation causes protein fibers to become stiff and malformed. The proteins in the skin most prone to glycation are the same proteins that make a youthful complexion so plump and springy .
So if your wondering why you look tired ,puffy and your skin looks sallow after having a couple glasses of wine or eating to many sweets ,this might help explain that to you .
So let’s “Brighten up our new year ” with a healthy diet ,exercise and less alcohol! In just a week you will look younger, not so tired and your skin will have a healthy glow! I promise!
Happy New Year !
